Who you are dealing with
Mentric is operated by Sam Bennett, Prague, Czech Republic. Contact: hello@mentric.ai.
What the service is
We measure how often a brand appears in the answers that AI answer engines give to a defined set of questions, and report what we find: whether a brand was named, how prominently, and which sources the answer cited.
Reports are currently produced manually. The self-serve dashboard is in development. What you receive today is a report prepared for you, delivered by email, on the schedule agreed when you order it.
What the service is not
We do not control what any AI engine says, and we cannot make one recommend you. No outcome, ranking, mention or position is guaranteed. Measurements describe what the engines said when we asked; they are observations, not promises, and they change.
Answer engines are non-deterministic and will give different answers to the same question. We publish the variance we measure so that you can judge the numbers for yourself. Reports are provided for information; decisions you take on the strength of them are yours.
Your responsibilities
Give us accurate information about your brand and domain, and only ask us to track brands and questions you are entitled to have tracked. Do not attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to the service.
Payment
Engagements are quoted and invoiced individually while the service is in early access. Prices are agreed in writing before work starts. Invoices are payable within 14 days unless we agree otherwise.
Cancellation
Either of us can stop at any time. Work already delivered is payable; work not yet started is not.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for lost profits, lost business, or indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes affecting an active engagement will be sent to you by email before they take effect.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Czech law, and the Czech courts have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not remove protections you have under the law of your own country of residence.
This is a plain-language draft and not legal advice. It should be reviewed by a lawyer before it governs a paid engagement.
